It's end of the year holiday!
I havent done anything yet. Since we have not received the news from the school so we are not buying any books or uniform yet. Still quite early. Let the p1 buy first haha.
I did my laundry today quite early. I am done with it by 9. So trying to look productive by typing on my ipad and logitech k380 keyboard since it is underutilised, while trying to look busy so that my children wont come and disturb me, they have a thing with me when i look relax lying on the sofa.
It's just Sunday, but it's quiet outside. I guess either everyone is sleeping in on everyone is already out at about. Shopping malls will be packed and all the fun places will be swarmed with hot and sweaty bodies.
I have no plans this year. Not going overseas too because i am not keen to renew my passport just yet. All i need is ample sleep and rest at home which i am still not getting.
OH finally i remembered why i am typing. I NEED to tell you about my aircon.
I have a system 3 aircon at home, and it is well used in one room - masterbedroom. It became not cold recently because we use it everyday *but not whole day*. Usually just during the day and off it when it was time to go to bed, around 9ish. So we called the usual servicing company to service it.
Unfortunately the boss came down instead of his 2 indian workers (which i prefer btw). He ketok me to do all 3 units CHEMICAL wash which i know it was redundant much since we literally under use the middle room aircon. But heck, i thought why not just wash them since it has been like 7+ years of staying here. Might be 7 years of dusts? (impossible since my last servicing was in Jan).
So i diligently paid $450 for that.
IT was cold for ONE day. Then the compressor went down. Like it was blinking and the 3 units blew warm air. We called the same guy and he said we had to change the compressor unit since the PCB is down, im like IMPOSSIBLE. It wasnt faulty until u came and did something back there when all i wanted was just the servicing of the aircon units only.
Unfortunately it is broken now thanks to him who did dirty to me. He wanted us to pay $600? ..for a secondhand compressor part. Which i got fed up and not reply to his msgs anymore and just think of him as a scammer.
So now we got hold of an agent directly from the manufacturer of the aircon locally which is charging us the basic price of things and not scam us. So I have been surviving the hot humid air for a week now. Until they come on Monday to check as well fix the compressor i gotta hold on until then.
Thank God for the rain each day coz at night it will be way hotter if theres no rain.
So the truth is, i totally lost my trust with the aircon servicing company totally even though we have been engaging them since my parents have aircon and now i have my own house with my own aircon so that is like more than a decade. It has always been his workers doing the job and never not even once do they have to come back and check again because they always service the aircon well.
Up until the boss came down to service it himself that he played dirty and spoil my compressor unit outside when he didnt have to even touch anything there. I curse him. I curse the things he did to everyone knowingly and unknowingly. For every time u do this, u get your retribution.
GRRRRRRRRRRR. Not cool man.
I need to pay for school books and uniform for my 2 kids. I already paid more when you did chemical wash.. $450.. now u asking for another $600 for something that wasnt broken but u intentionally broke it.
Have u no heart. I am homemaker and i dont have an income.
