I made the Cauliflower Nuggts yesterday. Here's a look!
These are actually baked. I got this recipe from Instagram (@yourhealthyworld). They have tonnes of other healthy recipes you can try. Go follow them now! Whether you are a weight watcher or not, these recipes are easy to make and they taste great!
Well here's the recipe to this delicious healthy Cauliflower tots..
2 cups of cooked cauliflower chopped finely
1 egg
1 egg white
1/2 cup onion finely chopped (or ground finely)
3 tbsp parsley
1/2 cup grated sharp Cheddar (i used Kraft block Cheddar)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (I toasted bread and blend it finely)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Cooking spray, or just cooking oil to line tin before baking
1. Preheat oven to 180 °C.
2. Combine all of the above ingredients in a bowl.
3. Use a medium sized spoon and scoop it onto a baking tray which as been sprayed or oiled.
4. Bake for 15 to 18 mins until it is golden.
That's it!!
My toddler really loves these. It helps when you have a 6mth to take care of while the toddler eats by himself on his high chair. *Thumbs up!*
It is also healthy, packed with a lot of goodness from the cheese and cauliflower, as well as no mess!! Unlike using spoon and making the toddler eat by himself. I can only imagine the horror.
